Sei & Reiji ~ Gundam BF 1

You don't say.....

Gundam boyfriends? Not really but some how I keep on calling that, and all have to do with Sei and Reiji interacting a lot in this episode, though i'm not the only one who keeps on thinking of that. Anyhow GBF is second top interesting this autumn right after valvrave, both are done by sunrise, have to do with mecha - one is fighting with Gunpla that the characters built and other is space vampire and fight with their valvrave. However ut those aren't only one that keeping me interesting, the relationship between boys is what drawing me into. This time cute friendship whether than complicated relationship between Haruto & L-elf.



 First episode was indeed adorable and funny, I can't helped my self to find ending theme ( op them ) was suitable for Sei & Reiji - I mean Sei was all cheerful and went out looking for him when he disappeared, but end up disappointing when he couldn't find him. I find that quite intense friendship there,  the way Sei looks and went from happy to worried really give out the feelings & vibe there, and show us how he appreciate Reiji being with him in present and helping him to win gunpla battle against Sazuki. Side from that I like how episode was focus on starting off their friendship, plus the dynamic between them was making the friendship interesting and yet unique. I even adore more that friendship  is between human an none human boy, the only stories that did involve boy meeting alien boy is no other than Haru & Yuki from Tsuritama, their friendship was really cute & special to my heart.

 The mystery question that concern me - is Reiji an alien or what? Why did he come to earth for? he has the battle skills despite he doesn't know anything about gunpla, he even have habit of appearing and disappearing out of no where. let's not forget that he gave Sei a wish gem. What's behind it anyways? Sei doesn't really wish on it, somehow Reiji appear when Sei need him the most; it could be gem was picking up Sei's feelings when he was on edge of losing in battle, Sei hardly made any wish then. One thing does bother me how come Reiji disappeared after battle and even didn't appear front of Sei when he out looking for him? instead he shows up at his house? Strange, well at least he keep his promise. The friendship and mystery behind the wishing gem & Reiji is whether looking into, and quite fun & interesting to watch, comparing to L-elf & Haruto's relationship feels quite bit dramatic and yet mysterious to me, so if you wanna watch something light hearted theme than GBF is the one to watch, but than again you should watch out for Sunrise, they can turn GBF into dark theme, you can never trust Sunrise.
