Haruto and L-elf ~ Valvrave S2 1

It been such a while I haven't wrote anything down for years, still I keep on watching & read stories that involve any form of boys' relationship from friendship to complicated relationship. There only 1-3 animes this year that have complicated relationship between young boys - the first one is Devil Survivor 2 between Hibiki and Yamato. Second Arata & Masato from Arata Kangatari. And the 3rd one is the most interesting one at the moments is Haruto and L-elf from Valvrave the Liberator, which aired back in April of 2013. Their relationship is heck of a head ache and yet interesting. They went from not trusting - coffee and sugar aka working together & trusting to distrust again and end of season one they have no choice to work together.

Although I can't recall what happened, I remember some parts of it, if had time in my life I would re-watch and gather more analysis on their relationship and themselves. I do know they're completed opposite from each others making their relationship more complicated and mysterious, more of way their relationship is more of mistrustful and unfriendly at the moment. Haruto don't full trust him , yet he's does follow L-elf's plans or at very least listen to him when they're fighting. seem like second season will get more on their relationship, i'm looking for to it.

Strangely after fight with Cain which continue from episode 12, it doesn't show us how Haruto think of L-elf, L-elf planning, nor any relationship develop during last two months. In matter fact after two months later Haruto locked himself behind cage and let in L-elf on experiment to see if he can control his attack on people and learn more about valvraves.  Not sure what's going on here?  Did Haruto somewhat let go or fully understand what's L-elf is up to? I mean if still mistrust him, then why let him on the test experiment?

It can't get any more complicated afterwards when L-elf went back calling Haruto by his full name instead of 'Haruto', and even inserted tracking device without Haruto's permission. Surprisingly Haruto wasn't even angry or surprised about it, despite he didn't even think of L-elf was up to something again and yet Haruto wouldn't care about it? To make thing worse for Haruto,  he learned from L-elf the only way to keep valvrave running is to collect runes, alternative he have to keep on attacking people. Haruto was pretty emotional about it to the point L-elf is offering to kill him.

Things get really intense when Haruto changed his mind in split moment when he thought of two girls, he rejected the offer and decide to feed on L-elf for now on? Like where did that come from? He even went to split 50/50 with him. He didn't even gave L-elf a moment to think about it heck of it he was assertive with the whole thing, and yet it show us L-elf 'agreed' by just pulling down his collar shirt  to expose his neck to him.  What's on L-elf mind? Why the heck he let Haruto be so assertive toward him, let alone feeding on him? I assuming there's was no one else for Haruto feed on runes. Isn't he worried some thing might happened to him if Haruto keep on doing it?

As for Haruto, what made him to use L-elf for runes than just finding someone who doesn't mind offers it, like Saki? I mean Saki is space vampire after all, so it won't matter, right? on less he afraid he will rape her again, but feeding on her wouldn't hurt her. She did offers herself to Haruto to feed off earlier and Yet he chosen L-elf. Though it very understandable of him not to hurt anyone, however the way he says he won't hurt anyone else and being assertive towards L-elf sound very rude of Haruto. However the way he split 50/50 deal with L-elf,  perhaps he want L-elf  to accomplice him or to work together. Sharing everything: the curse that Haruto have to bear with, the hope that makes the future and deal and everything - in ways L-elf is his other half to Haruto, without him he will be lost; actually both of them will be lost with out each other. Just look how far Haruto and his friends made it so far? if wasn't for L-elf, they would gotten into big trouble.
