Haruto & L-elf ~ Valrvave S2 8 ( 20 )

:(

Like always this review may have several grammar mistakes. If you find any mistakes let me know and I’ll fix it.

Turned out Saki was in the bag after all. While for L-elf, not looking good, he's greatly in despair over her death, and seem like he blamed it on himself. He wrote some calculating if there was any possible way to save her, but in the end it all leads into darkness for him. How he explains his simulations about saving her back then, sound like he's a time travel, but isn't, he was calculating if he could had saved her if the situation was different back then.

Sleeping Beauty?
Well that's odd, it seem Haruto is the only one who's visiting L-elf. I was expecting Shouko visiting too, but turns out Haruto is the only one thinking of him. I find that engrossing and touching of him visiting him while no else did, even though he needs l-elf's help, he came see if there's anything he can do.

Unfortunately he couldn't do much to help him during his visit, he does try to convince him what Lieselotte said to him, but before he could say it, L-elf told him to get out. I can understand Haruto giving L-elf sometime to recover and respecting his wish, it's was nice of him - however I wish he could had stay little longer to comfort him, even having to disrespect his wishes. He should had told him 1-2 things like: Lieselotte isn't human and getting revenge on her, would probably motivate on L-elf, other than letting him go through slow progress of recovering isn't going to help much. Especially they need L-elf's help asap.

I kind of knew this would happen, L-elf locked himself in and now they have to figure things out without him. This situation would probably cause a development on Haruto to learn to do thing on his own without L-elf's help. Like L-elf going through grief, Haruto is also going through some tough time, worried about every thing is happening and doesn't know what to do. Part of the reason he turned to L-elf for help in the first place, it's because of that reason. He didn't ask him just because he see him as a tool, most anons on /a/ think of that which not all true anymore. If he see him as a tool, he won't have sympathy to visit him or realize how L-elf's feels. Haruto felt like his running out of option so it leaving him having no choice to ask L-elf.  In the matter fact to sound more clear, Haruto seem to have strong sympathy for him: right after he saw L-elf's calculating on the walls and hearing out his problem, he was cut off from saying it. He felt bad and couldn't ask him anymore. The first thing that came to his mind was changing the subject about Lieselotte, even having to leave the room when L-elf ask him to get out, giving L-elf some time to grief.

Both of them have their own problems and the war still going on, yet they're still out of reach. Like in Realism trying to get hold of each others, I still believe they haven't got hold, I know for sure that even though Haruto is trying his best reach for L-elf, he's still having hard time getting through to his conscious mind or heart. As for L-elf reaching out for Haruto is quite mystery why he's doing that, when he only see Haruto as a tool to saved his Lieselotte.
 -------------

Now it didn't work for the second time, when he came to visit again with little good news on Jior, in the end he say he'll be waiting for him to work together when the time has comes. It seem L-elf doesn't give damn what going on nor don't care working together with him. He's hopelessly giving up on life ever since he loss his light and hope, so he lost his reason to existence. I'd like to believe ( probably won't happen ) that Lieselotte comes to visit and comforting him, simultaneously she will also tell him the only reason he's still a live or not left behind it's because Haruto care for him. Haruto says he will do anything to make them happy together. So in the end I concern Haruto might be his new hope and light. He help rescue Lieselotte, came back for him when he's in trouble, gave him place to stay and the most is being the only one trying to comfort him. It's just that L-elf doesn't realize what Haruto done for him so far, going through grief over the loss of his love is really hitting him bad and blocking him for outside world.

When I was writing this review down, I was having a hard time whether or not Haruto  said to l-elf about getting revenge on 'Council of the Hundred and One'. Crunchyroll says it, however in GG subs say differently. It's not just sub group either, different people say he had, and others said he had not.  I'd like to think he had said it, however he didn't say it that well, he need say it more enlighten or clear to L-elf.  Maybe next week something will happen and cause L-elf get out of his despair, who knows maybe Lieselotte would visit him to snap him out of it.  Like in the ED theme where Newtype ghost Lieselotte appear near him, maybe she would convince him to be at Haruto's Side or others stuff such "I always at your side and you should be near Haruto's side too, he needs your help." ....Ok really start to think the end theme is giving out lot of spoiler.
